Call from E & Y

i got a call .. i attended interview and they selected me but they wanted to put me in tax department so i refused because the job they said me to do was 12 hours of office and at home i was required to refer case laws regarding tax matters . no time for anything .. nos tudy no sleep ... it was not worth it ..

what sort of questins do they ask???

I sent my resume to a person whom i know personally who is working in E&Y.

They first gave me a question paper - was quite simple to be completed in 1 hour and then immediately the HR took my interview.

He first began to describe about him and then asked me to tell me something about myself.
Asked me what challenging have i done so far .
Also why do you choose a Big 4 firm for articleship.
What is my career objective
Important - he also asked What am I good at (my strengths)
Some very basic questions ....

I got selected not because i gave all answers to the satisfaction but because whatever i said, i said it with confidence.

So all the best to you . Be confident and for articleship its not at all any tough an interview. Its jus tough with Employment and interview questions depend on HR . Am from Chennai , may be HR of other place may ask different questions but will mostly be similar.
