CAN ANY ONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO TAKE AS DENOMINATOR WHEN WE CALCULATE DIVIDEND PER SHARE IN:

1. ACCOUNTS (IF ANY AS/ GUIDELINE APPLICABLE)

2. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

I MEANT WEIGHTED AVERAGE OR CLOSING SHARES OR SIMPLE AVERAGE

i think by the number of shares as on date of declaration of dividend

By weighted average we calculate no of share as on the date
