Please help me , i am working as a Accountant and i want to do a professional course

so tell me which course is best for me and what is the difference of power between CA/ICWAI/CS

hi,

It depends on ur interests..

CA is more of finance

Cs is full of law

CWA -i dnt know exactly but has lots of cost n finance also may be(FIND OUT)

First of all if u r into accounts field,hence CS should be out of question,if you want to continue with accounts only. Narrowing down to CWA and CA,you will have to consider time factor as CA will take atleast 4.5 years of ur life. If you can devote so much of time then definitely go for CA,otherwise go for CWA as it will take half the time and will also give u knowledge at par with CA. its your life,take your decision after considering everything.

as you are working so there is no question of CA & you are working in accounts field so CWA will be better for you as CS pertaining to company law matter only so that will not beneficial for you...

can anyone tell me wht's all the rightes of a icwai and what is the difference from CA

CA includes studying every aspect of accounting, taxation auditng ICWA focuses on cost and financial management, analyses expenditures and available resources, CA's main duty is taxation and auditing, ICWA's main duty is cost management and cost control methods, You can do ICWA thru' postal or oral coaching, It has two stages for graduates, Inter (6 subjects) and Final (8 subjects) no idea on CA coaching, if along with accounts, auditing taxation also your fav subjects, you can go CA, If you are interested in costing side, then icwa will be better choice, and regd career aspects, both are good in their own ways..

@ Amit...being a CA or CWA doesnt mean u work as one.....a CA or a CWA can play many roles. so its a lil difficult to exactly say wat are the rights of CA and CWA.

As u r working,so you would,there are many departments in the government who require a CA to certify various certificates like in income tax,tax audit reports are to be issued by a CA only,statutory auditor of a company should be a CA and many more. In case of CWAs, I dont know much, but CWAs issue cost audit report under the companies act. Rest our CWA friends will through light on as I know only this one.

i mean i would like to know so what sort of things is there so A CA can do it but a ICWAI cant do that because he has no rights ? tell me please?

HI Amit,

Whether CA/ICWA when in Job/Service can do the same work.

However when it come to Practice there is obvious difference in their rights as below:

CA can do Statutory Audit and Income Tax Audits etc. where as CWA cant do these

CWA can do Cost Audit, and Indirect Tax related works. which CA cant do.

Hope the above things clarify.

However you said you are working so pursuing CA Articles may not be possible for you.

Amit as ur working u cant go for CA.... if u start CA u can complete up to CA ipcc as u have to go for artilce ship after dat to qualify for final.... Its very hard for an employee to complete final and consumes a good amount of time in your life.

it ll take half of the time for icwa and u can clear even final in a short span which makes to grow in ur career by saving a time of min 3 years.

after reaching a certain level in ur company it doesnt make a big difference whether ur a CA or CWA, experience matters here.

Its better to be an qualified icwa rather than be a semi qualified CA

if you have interst in practice then CA will batter option. CA have right to do Tax Audits, Statutory Audits and Bank Audits.

if you want to become your carrer in accountancy or finance field then CA & CWA both are almost equal. Degree is just a gate-pass in industry. hard work and dedication will play major role in job sector.

According to your sistuation (means you are in job) CWA will batter option for you. you can do CWA with job. your job experience will count as articleship and your tranning/articleship will exempt. but if you want to do CA course then you can not do job with articleship of 3 years. icai not allowed job with articleship. choice is yours............
