Ca principal force to do dummy articleship

Articleship 208 views 1 replies

I am ca final student, currently pursuing a two-year articleship out of which 4 months is completed, but my principal force me to discontinue articleship and opt for a dummy articleship. He is not allowing me to come to his office. He didn't even give me any stipend.

He put false accusation on me that I am not sincere and disrespecting others, which is completely wrong.

Please help me.

I'm really sorry to hear about your difficult situation. Here are some steps you can consider:

  1. Document Everything: Keep a record of all communications (messages, emails, letters) and any incidents related to this issue.

  2. Speak to ICAI: You can approach the Student Services Department or the Disciplinary Committee of ICAI. They take such issues seriously and can intervene.

  3. File a Complaint: You can file a formal complaint against your principal with ICAI if you feel you are being treated unfairly or forced into dummy articleship.

  4. Seek Guidance from Senior Students or Mentors: Sometimes senior colleagues or members can help mediate or advise on how to handle the principal.

  5. Transfer Articleship: If possible, consider transferring your articleship to another principal who respects and supports you. ICAI allows transfer under certain conditions.

  6. Know Your Rights: Articleship is a training period, and principals cannot force you to discontinue without valid reasons. Stipend and genuine work are part of your learning process.
