Prepare Institute's study material, it is more than enough along with PM. Try revising the chapters and gain confidence, rather than referring too many books. You can visit ICAI portal and listen to podcast lectures too, it will help you.

Yes, your point is acceptable to some extent, but you can not say all the chapters in the book are complex. One of the prime reason why students say this way is because, the subject is on the technical side and we guys are not experts on those matters.
