Associate comapny -
Significant control is 20% or more.
Subsidiary company -
controls the composition of directors OR controls 1/2 of total share capital (total share capital = paid up equity share capital + convertible prefrence share)

Significant Control means:

a. Contrl of 20% or more of Total Voting Power; or

b. Participation in business decisios under an arrangement.
