First of all you should register for the materials through the ICAI website. Online materials are also available. You can make use of that for your entrance preparation. Also it is better to approach a CA chapter to get a wide range of information. Then after that you can make decisions to go or not for coaching and all. If you have the dedication you can make it by yourself. Make sure to clarify the information I gave you.
