Ca firms in mumbai for articleship

Hey Rishikesh... could you please help me out for articles in any good firms in mumbai. cos i am moving from hyderabad to mumbai.i have completed my IPCC both groups in Nov 11 and doing my articles in Hyd since dec 11.
plz help me.

i hav cleared IPCC group 1 and non of the above listed mid firms are taking me, i have sent my cv to many of these firms, n i want to start articles as i dont want to delay my final attempt waiting for group 2.
Also the reason why i want in mid firms is "exposure"
i want exposure to company audits and also bank audit, internal statutory is irrespective
i dont want the small firms because what i have noticed is they have audits of co-operative societies and tax filing of individuals, there is no scope for me in such firms
what do i do??? pls help
will i get a firm i m looking for or should i go for the small firms??

I have passed my ipcc grp1 for May 2012 attempt, completed my B.com and LLB 1st year.
Worked as en employee in Mid size CA firm in mumbai.
now i want to do my articleship in upper mid size ca firm in mumbai(exposure of tax and audit).
Which upper mid size ca firm will provide me to do my articleship in both i.e tax and audit?
pls pls provide me the list of the firmsss......

I have already replied to you tamanna "If exposure is what you seek and not money, then you can find many firms out there to take you in. Ofcourse you would need reference for that. V.P. Mehta are into internal audits . Chaturvedi & Shah do all types of Audits.. Majorly statutory audit, internal, tax audit and advisory, M & A, etc.. Lodha & Co does majorly Statutory Audits and Tax Audits. All are good firms

I can't help you by referring to any firm as even I dont have any reference. I just shared the information which I collected while searching for a firm for myself. If you want any information on any firm, I can provide the same as far as I have the knowledge about it.

I understand your problem. It is always better to join a mid size firm than a small one for exposure. But as I see that you are not getting a mid size firm, I would suggest you to join a small firm now and clear your Group 2 and then take a transfer to a mid size firm. This way your final attempt wont be delayed and you will get exposure too. Best of Luck.

As I have already said, there are many such firms which are into both. but the problem is, they have no vacancy or they do not provide you exposure in both fields. You need strong reference to get into a good firm. Check out Job sites and portals for vacancies. Even ICAI Article Portal would help you. Register there and see.
i have register for new direct entry for ipcc so plz suggest good ca firms to apply in
n is old ipcc syllabus n direct entry syllabus is same or different??????????
