What is your review of CA Final SFM old paper? Did you find it tougher than other attempts in recent times? 

Does it mean that there will be leniency in checking of SFM just like strictness in checking of FR (which people are saying was easy)

Thank you, sir. What does lenient mean, though? I mean, do they give marks for concepts/steps or accept our assumptions?

step marking will be higher than usual, plus they will also give bonus marks

May ICAI read your comment and do it! Seriously, even if they don't do that, at least give marks for concepts and steps, a bit leniently. This was one nightmare of 3 hours!

Its alright mine was horrible in may 18. They hadn't even given full information and you had to assume in every other question. Still scored 43 when i was not even confident of 20 plus.

That's good to know Aneesh. Seriously you people are amazingly supportive, I was feeling bad for spoiling one of my fav subjects but now I feel good, and ready to give other exams confidently. Thanks a ton! :-)

for may 18 - 8 grace marks were awarded
