New syllabus : 1. around 40% of the paper was theoretical and application based. However it required really thorough learning as there were questions where they asked both benefits and importance of the same thing in different questions which could be solved only by actually cramming the theory. 2. the questions were similar to those in the study material itself. However, some tricky points were added to those parts which could be solved if your concepts were clear. 3. case study which was being asked the first time was much easier than that provided in the book or the MTPs.
It was an average paper. However, the notification by the institute in September of the exam not being a theory paper seemed to be a hoax and a misdirecting one.
