I logged into my account to fill exam form and saw my Initial Date of Registration to Final (As given in Registration letter issued by Board of Studies,ICAI) was 3rd April 2012. Since then 5 years have passed.
Do i need to re register before applying for nov 2017 exam?
If yes then will the new registration continue to be as per old existing course?
How much time does it take to revalidate?

1. Yes you have to apply for revalidation as the registration should be valid before applying for exams.
2. Yes, even after revalidation, you will remain in the same course unless you convert. Last attempt Nov-2020.
3. After applying for revalidation, you may fill the exam form next day.
I filled up the form, paid the fees unaware that my registration had expired a week ago. A friend has told that she faced no problem in similar situation and we can revalidate later. I have been endlessly trying to get in touch with various offices on phone. They say that it depends on the regional offices where you are registered.
Besides the link to Revalidation form is also broken. I hope that there are no problems. Has anyone faced such problems? and can anyone post a working link to the revalidation form?
Can anybody explain the procedure for conversion into new scheme. I have completed my Group one CA final and group 2 i want to give under new scheme. I dont see any link for conversion
