Ca final registration query

My ca final attempt is due in may 2017. I am in my third year of articleship having registered in Sept-2014.

I want to register for ca finals in January 2017 so as to get new books for May 17 attempt.

Having said that ICAI is likely to come out with new scheme by November 2016 if not by the year end Dec 16.

In that case do I fall under new scheme of education and if yes- thereby will my attempt get postponed to November 2017 as a result of ICAI saying- 3 years completion rule to write final exams.

Please guide me as to when should i register...

Either register immediately to play safe (October 2016 and get old study material) or wait for Jan 2017 to get material applicable for May 2017 exams.

The student of final is supposed to register for final course as soon as one has cleared both the groups of Ipcc. And the material editions available were sent to students. However the students will have to purchase the updated materials.

Coming to new syllabus- as u have mentioned - one will be eligible to appear only after the completion of three years articleship. Even on implementation of new syllabi old one will be there on transition. So register as soon as possible to be eligible to write in may 2017.
