Hats off to you for your sheer passion & love for this profession. You are taking the right decision for yourself. No one should ever stop working towards his/her ambition and dream.  You do not need to feel low on confidence at allI  due to this 4 year time gap. 

First of all, I would advice you to prepare for the new course syllabus instead of the old course as there are very few attempts left for the old course syllabus. Also, the institute's material for the new course is very much self explanatory and thus is great for self study. In case, you face any doubt, there are thousands of videos on youtube for every topic from different faculties. Plus you can always share your queries and discuss any doubts on these forums and social media groups.
