Above change affects the 3 papers of CA final.

Paper 1: Financial Reporting: Revised schedule VI is applicable as it is and supplement to it schedule III of companies act 2013 applicable. Main Difference between schedule VI and schedule III is in the area of consolidated statement. and Part II of schedule VI profit and loss statement.

Paper 3: Auditing: Appointment, Removal etc of auditor, CARO, Accounts of Company

Paper 4: Corporate and Allied Laws: Suuplementary Material provided by ICAI above.

So after downloading above material you need not require to purchase new books. Just do amended chapters from suppliementary material and other things remain same.

Only paper 6 ISCA is required to be learn from NEW book as whole subject is changed.

Hi, can anyone plz reply if the CA Final ; LAW Practice Manual edition of January 2014 'Relevant' for Nov,2014 attempt ?

Coz in that book most of the Answers contain references to Section No.s of Companies Act 1956.

Only a few Answers have references to Companies Act , 2013.

@ prasanna Not Complete change but you can say drastic change. In ISCA some chapters totally removed and some new chapters added and some chapters remain as it is. So now preparing november 2014 exam you should learn from New Revised MODULE and Module covers full Practice manual. I Believe that for ISCA Module is the BEST.

@ Ashok Yes Practice manual or Reference book which was useful for May2014 exam can be used for upcoming November 2014 exam but you required to make tick and notes of amendments which are amended under compnies act 2013. For those amendments you can download supplementary material from above links. I suggest you that use old books with supplementary material. Around 45 sections in one supplementary book and 50 pages in second book are there that you require to prepare extra.

Hi Kevin: I had purchased Surbhi Bansal's book applicable for May 2014 exam. In which chapters of Audit will there be changes due to the New Act? Can you please point out the specific chapters?

I had purchased New ISCA study material in the month of April 2014 which is applicable for NOv 2014 exam but in ICAI website, last updation date of study materuak is August 2014. Is it required for me again to Buy the new ISCA book?
