Hello Friends,

This is to inform you that SEBI (DIP) Guidelines, 2000 has been rescinded and replaced by SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 which have been notified on August 26, 2009.

I don’t have the same in simple format but Please find enclosed herewith new SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 along with SEBI Circular No. SEBI/CFD/DIL/ICDRR/1/2009/03/09 Dated September 3, 2009.

Posting them again for new students.

Also find attach a file containing difference between newly introduced SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 and rescinded SEBI (DIP) Guidelines, 2000.

The same is very important for the purpose of Examination and for understanding this new amendment.

Regarding applicability of the same I would suggest you to have chat with some student exam cell, if any, of the ICAI or check ICAI newsletter.

You shud provide this new amendment in brief. As yr material contains more than 250 pages, i dont think u have done a great job by posting this elaborated notes. you have done nothing from yr side, u have just forwarded us the act.

I dont think tat yr help and material are helpful for us.

Plz dont mind but its a fact and i dont keep anything inside.

Your observation is very correct Jitesh. Yes I have not done any good job and I haven’t done anything from my side.

But I’ll try to help you next time. Please excuse me this time.

I have a solution for you – buy new munish bhandari book and find new sebi provision in easy way.

Hello,

Thanx to all for their comments. I referred the Students Journal sent by ICAI for the March 2010 (page no.28), which says that that new regulations is not applicable for may 2010 exams. I am hereby reproducing the text for your reference, which is as under :

"SEBI (Issue of Capital And disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 was notified on August 26, 2009. The new ICDR Regulations have been made primarily by conversion of the SEBI (DIP) Guidelines 2000 (Since rescinded). The comparative analysis is specifically in relation to Preferential warrants, group companies, public issues , book building issues, disclosure norms, monetary control and other miscellaneous comparative aspects. Details of the comparative analysis are given in RTP, May 2010 examinations for updating the knowledge on the matter. However, the new Regulations is not Applicable for May 2010 examination."

Please let me know (after reading the above text), should we refer the old guidelines or the new one.
