Other than PADUKA----OK then simply go for M.P. Vijay kumar...as suggested by members.

But don't completely reject PADUKA...use it as a reference along with Study material.

Also use ICAI suggested answers coz sometime solution of a question in ICAI suggested answers is much better than any other book.

A.N. Sridhar 's Problem and Solutions is the best book for doing practice.

Rightly said by Ankur Sir do not ignore Suggested Answers published by the ICAI.

Use M.P.Vijay Kumar sir book for concept clarity and also problem solving. Padhuka may be used for working out additional problems. I think these books are enough. For AS M.P. Vijay Kumar Sir book is enough. All the best.

I am also not attended classes and doing Self study.. I felt His book is very useful to Understanding the difficult Concepts and Chapters  easily.. Also Keep another separate Accounting Standard Book and ICAI Compilation with you..

M.P.Vijay Kumar book  is good use it and A.N. Sridhar 's Problem and Solutions are also helps you for your self study use Study material also.
