Ca final may 2018 old course law paper

See, the Paper IV -  Law of CA Final (Old Course) in May 2018 was very lengthy and quite unusual. It was on the tougher side when compared to the other recent attempts and the questions asked were mostly new and practical case study based.

In my opinion, you should sit and compute an expectation of marks based on what answers you have written (without any grace marking).

If the expectation developed is less than 45 marks, then you should not wait for the result and should rather start with your preparation again. You cannot rely on ICAI for granting grace marks.

My objective, when I suggested self-introspection to you, was not to instill a fear of potential failure in you.

I would suggest you to utilise these 1.5 months before the result, to study those topics of Law and Audit syllabus which are  also relevant for the job interviews post-result like IBC, IBC Case laws, amendments introduced by Companies (Amendment) Act 2017 etc.
