Yes there is a definate corelation between results and GST especially for Group 2.. Or i would put in that way that if by giving grace a student is becoming a CA (First group Cleared) than it will definetely have impact on results..

However grace is for all students and institute always keeps a provision of 2 marks in each subjects.. If you dont beleive just check results of May 2016.

Brother ISCA 2marks Grace.. IDT 4 marks grace.. I dont know why it is not in your case.

would discss my personal experience how i cleared first group.. I got FAIL WITH EXEMPTION IN FR. My total was  62+35+37+58 = 194 I applied for rechecking got exemption in law 58+2=60 I also applied for certified copies for law i saw marks written  56 

To sum up icai gave me  2 additional marks over and above 2 grac (Nov 15)\

Yes icai is at its discretion. If your performanc is good in other subjects no body can stop from passing

In next attempt i got 232 with 61 in SFM as well.. May 16 papaer of law was hell.. Thank GOD i had exemption

They slash marks in AMA. Most of the cases i have seen 40 I mean every time cant be co incident.. But yes this time paper was tricky they might give some extra marks and liberty

@ Abbasali- Did you check gracing in ISCA & IDT in your certified copies as a.kumar also confirmed no gracing in AMA, and I checked my copies for ISCA & DT and my friend cheked for IDT....

Yes i checked certified copies of one of my friend for isca he got 47 however in copies it appered 45.

For IDT i got 4  marks additional it was 50 while in results it was 54

It seems gracing can be centre wise or region wise or may be randomly isnt it?
