I have dvd's of Costing(AMA) & IDT of Nov'09 batch. I want to know that is there any changes in Syllabus of CA-Final specially of Costing(AMA) & IDT? as I want to prepare these 2 subject by these DVD's. 

 

My attempt is May'14 so plz guide me further...

so basically u r asking can u use 5 year old dvd for ca final that too for tax??

ya. Actually my boss tld me tht wit those dvd nd at last amendments class will do for idt as its all abt table by Raj Kumar. plz guide wat shall I do, m asking bcoz i cnt take tntn due to financial prblm. also guide for costing.

remember idt changes every 6. months, don't try to take class from dvd specially idt bcz u can be in trouble

You can use old DVDs for costing but don't even think of using old DVDs for Tax purpose.

For IDT use updated practice manual and VS datey, you would get exemption for sure.

Thanx, Can I do IDT with only Bangar & Bangar or I should refer other MAT also?

For IDT you may opt to study from Bangar with the relevant Assessment Year applicable for your May 2014 examination and at the meantime, you can go through the ICAI study material and practice manual.

Since there is no change in syllabus for subjects like SFM and AMA , you may opt to use them. Also, complement these DVD's with latest Practice Manuals and other Institute’s publication in order to keep yourself abreast of the changes.

Hello Friends..

 

I  urgently need latest dvd of law,audit,idt & d.t subjects...if someone has kindly provide me that ...bcz I dnt have much time to go to coaching classes...I have may 2014attempt.

For SFM subject :-How is J.B. Gupta video lecture..I plan to study with the help of this lectures...is this really helpful....
