CA Final Law - New Syllabus

This comes straight from a ghost novel er... no sorry... the report of (yet another) expert committee on education and training

1. Companies Act (similar to what we have now)
2. The Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992
3. The Securities Contract (Regulation) Act, 1956
4. The Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999
5. Foreign Contribution and Regulation Act
6. The Competition Act, 2002
7. The Banking Regulation Act, 1949
8. The Insurance Act, 1938,
9.The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999.
10.The Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002
8. Interpretation of Statutes, Deeds and Documents
9. Corporate Secretarial Practice.

It seems questionnaires were sent to rank-holders and they expressed the view that the current Law syllabus was NOT adequate and the question papers hardly chalenged them. So I guess 7,8,9 & 10 have been included. Personally I would like to meet these rank holders and say hi &^*$$#^)( to them. well Good Luck to you all
