i m also in same position....FR & SFM exempt but fail in this 2.. :(

SM of Audit is revised and lots of changes are there so i think its better to refer SM for audit....

Thank you and what about law??

Dont u think doing SM for audit now will be time consuming.. I mean limited time and too much to revise

Refer Vinod Kumar Agrawal's Book with PM & For Better Approach of study please see CA Neeraj Arora's videos on How to Score Good Marks in CA Final Audit...!

Okay.. Will check it out.. Thank you sachin

for law do pm plus refer Swapnil Patni sirs law charts

@ zinia - for law, refer Munish Bhandari sir's book - there are 2 books - comprehensive material (in-detail provisions are explained) and handbook (helpful for revision-exam oriented).Depending on the availability of time, select the book.

For Audit, Padhukas (exam-oriented) or Surabhi Bhansal (in-detail) material can be referred.

No matter whichever reference material is used, mandatorily study Practice manual (latest) and RTP atleast thrice.

Take  coaching from VPJ sir(Vinod Parakh jain) .He is covering audit in 22 classes with coverage of all questions of PM,Compiler ,RTP in class itself .He will tell u by seeing scannned answer sheet of stydents what they write who fail and even of student who passed. He will develop writings skillls of audit in class itself.Your result will improve.Average score in audit is 25  to 30 marks but his students are scoring very good. You can check FB page of VPJ IDT AND AUDIT CLASSES

if you really want to clear audit and law.
just read pm only pm.
than give take test on your own.
check it with suggested and mark out your mistakes.
You'll definitely clear next time

Dear Zinia,

For Audit: It is important to learn the Accounting Standards and stick to the Study Material's language as far as possible.
Ethics also requires attention, give due importance to it. Besides the above pointers, please keep in mind  how you frame and write your answer is very important. We suggest you use Asim Trivedi for Standards as well as Ethics and the Practice Manual for the rest of the portion.

For Law: Make sure you complete a minimum of three readings of your portion before your exams. First, a general reading, second, a more elaborate readng for the parts you can not grasp, thirs should be an over all revision.

Once you are done with these revise your portion as many times as possible. We suggest you use Munish Bhandari for the same.

Further remember it is important to write your answers well, so keep these pointers in mind:

Whether you write paragraphs or you write points, the relevant provision must get covered entirely.

Your answers must have an introduction, body and a conclusion.

Use the language expected (eg. Use keywords, passive voice)

The quality of your content matters and not the form in which you give it.

We hope this helps!

All the Best.
