The Institute has stated that it has not yet finalised the date of the exams and it will be notified shortly. So we need to wait and watch...........
check the institute website for the notification
ICAI in the matter has notified to wait and watch and there are several opinions and rumours are going on in this respect that why ICAI is not declaring the dates.
I think that there is no mystry in it and the situation is created due to the facts that we are going for General Election either in may or in June and Election commission has not declared the excat dates hence ICAI is not notifying the excat month.

can someone please mail me some updated notes for MICS for the May 2009 exam. Also which books are good for the CA Final group-2? Mail me on ag588 @ rediffmail.com. You could call me on 9833825222
actually this confusion persists in almost all d aspirants for May'09 attempt...would be good that the date sheet gets finalised at the earliest..for those undergoing articleship, the leave gets sanctioned according
