Is there an amendment in May 2018 attempt for landing charges which we used to take @ 1% of FOB?

This came because of the recent supreme court judgement in the case of Wipro Ltd

But there is a change even in RTP where it is wrote that landing charges are not to be levied @ 1%

yes.
Wipro case is applicable. For May 2017 attempt, landing charges shall not be calculated.

Yes I checked it, you can solve answer without adding 1% also but you have to mention case law of WIPRO in notes.

But now notification came in that respect... That 1% is no more relevant... Go with latest questions answe... Send ur mailid... I will send u amendments notes

The Hon’ble Supreme Court had ruled in the case of M/s Wipro Ltd. Vs Assistant Collector of Customs- 2015 (319) ELT 177 (S.C.) dated 16/04/2015 that the landing charges to be added to the value of goods, should be based on actual charges incurred, and not a notional charge of 1% as has been provided in the Rules.
