Can a CA be employee at 2 places? suppose one in Ca firm as paid assistant and at the same time working with some other company is it possible?

Prima facie, yes, why not. You need to check the terms of appointment in both the organization. In case if he / she is appointed as a consultant in both the organization and the contract does not restrict him / her from taking up any other assignment it should be fine.
