Hi Friends, I'm a Graduate Student. I'd like to earn "CA Title". I understand that one has to start from CPT to Final. But, I'm not in a position to devote more than 1 year for my studies.
So, I've decided to do "PG Diploma in Taxation (PGDT)".
Now, my query is if I complete PGDT, Will I be conferred CA Title. Can I do all tasks which a CA does. Can I also set up e-return Intermediary.
Help appreciated.

SORRY FRD , YOU CANNOT DO LIKE THAT, YOU NEED TO DO ICAI COURSE TO GET CA , FOR EXAMPLE : IF WE DO DIPLOM IN NURSING WE CANNOT TELL PEOPLE THAT I AM A MBBS AND PUT BOARD AS DOCTER RIGHT,

you cant get ca title in front of your name, but ya you can do what ca people will do filing returns and maintaining company accounts, but for tax audit ca only needed and for signing for balance sheets you have to get sign by ca only..........

In order to use CA designation, you have to go through all the process ie., CPT, Articles, PCC, Final. Hence there is no way you can use CA designation without clearing exams conducted by the ICAI. I hope i cleared your doubts.
