hey everyone, I am a CA aspirant, I have appeared for IPCC both groups this may, the results are still awaited.. I want to do CS along with CA, I haven't got myself registered with ICSI yet, and my ITT and orientation trainings are also lined up in near future.. shall I get myself registered for CS now?? or shall I do so after my articleship starts?? moreover as per the new curriculum CS requires a training period of 3 years which is not possible for me after 3 years of articleship for CA, so will it hold any imporatnce if I do not do that CS training and simply clear executive and final exam?? if not, what shall be the other best alternative for me?? please help!!

I had done CA and CS both, But due to articleship problem i hadnt got the membership no of CS.. Waise bhi its not important for me as i want to do job as an CA not as an CS, Although CS is an addition .... So for companies who hire u on job as an ca, doesnt give much emphasis on CS Membership. Only passing Final exams are enough dear...

So dont worry and go for CS.....

I too had joined it after IPCC... so its perfect time to move towards it... you will clear both near about same time.. CA and CS.....

Thank you sir!! Sir, what else can I do along with this? Something that would add on to my profile? And will not be very tough to manage along with cs executive and articleship??

Hey shreya,

I must suggest rather that going for much courses, try to be perfect in any one of the subjects, improves your communictation skill ( if u think its not that much good), improves computer efficiency like in excel.. u must have command over ms office, u can go for ERP Trainings, SAP, IFRS.... There are many things and short duratation courses which will increase your CV Value with your knwoledge
