CA..congrats..% of passing gon up..lols...

now days this happens with all CA stydents                 

I dont find it as a fun observation...I mean theres a way of congratulating someone....one of my fathers friend..congratulated me for becoming a CA and then he askd what was the pass %? i replied "17-18%"....and he made such a face as if maine ussey koi gaali de di......I mean when people dont knw wat it takes to become a CA they shudnt remark or comment on such matters.....even if pass % is 80....that wont give me back my 4 precious years..when everybody of my age wud party,hangout,celebrate holi and diwali....and all we CA students  used to do is go tutions,articleship,tutions and at home used to revise.....

pass % 2 or 20....doesnt matter...the effort remains the same....the syllabus remains the same....the sacrifice remains the same!..

It is a wrong way of congratulating a CA student ..

its a sad thing...i know...but we can not tell som1 about studies n all dis things...

..so better u make fun out of it...

Same case has occured wid me..wen in May'12 my first attempt of final i cleared 1st grp (even due 2 illness)..mny ppl wer quite amazed nd den started askin passin % nd strted tellin dis tym pass% has increased na ??

Motivate or congratulate karne ke badle aise log khushi pe pani fer dete he !!

The kind of stress that we face for the preperation and especially for exam days is remarkable and cant be match by anyone.

I mean those who are not aware about the life of CA/CS students and the depth of syllabus shouldnt comment.

Well Probably the best option is to show them our ICAI/ICSI modules.

(Newspaper padhne me logo ki subah chali jati he fir itna padhne me to....)

And Yes we are not fighting in a battel where the victory is for sure...

I mean unlike other courses, we are not a part of such institute where once you enter (by any means ), The Degree will be yours for sure...

Afterall only a fighter knows that battel was very tough and not the audiance.

Let them speak..

We know, we face, we fight, we acheive....

@ all of the above------yahi nahi..even the people who have completed CA many years back will say" yaar humaare samay to pass % 2-3 hota tha..humaare samay to exam k beech gap nahi hota tha.." and blah blah.....y do they compare????....unke samay to questions bhi repeated aate the....provision likhi hui aati thi..bas explain karo....hume to pehle question padhke ye samajhna parta hai k question hai kis chapter ka? fir kaunsa provision lag raha hai...ye sab samajh me aaye tab to answer bhi likhna start karo..its easy to answer 10 marks question....than answering 4 and 5 marks question....in a 5 marks question..u either know the answer or u dont!!!..but in a 10 marks question..u always have a chance of getting 4 or 5 due to part marking..and unke samay saare question 10 and 15 marks k hote the......

those who want to contradict can see the past year questions..before the new course was implemented!!

Really a good thought. It shows self respect which is must and which some of our friends forgets to do.

Keep it up guys. Believe in your self do not allow others to depress you.

CA is prestigious course. And there is lot of expectation from a CA and CA Student..

In the past the result use to be 2% to 9% now a days the same as gone up..
Thats y all are commenting....result up and all...no need to worry...the only thing we have to worry is to maintain high standard
 

Ya I totally Agree with darshak...

As a curse like CA , CS we have to fight our own battel   there is no guarantee tat institute will take our ship on the sea shore... so unlike other course its different and high ststus

As per my understanding one should ignore such kind of people who used to say “ICAI passing % has increased”. Membership of ICAI is still not a “Hasi-khel” and it takes lot of guts and hard work to clear final examination of ICAI.

One should be proud of his/her effort and make best use of the opportunity provided by the ICAI membership. Cheers !!!
