Ca & cfa, qualifications

I am a student, now studying for my PCC exam to be held in November, 2012. I wrote my CPT last year after my college(12th), and after that, I have not joined for any college. Hence, I do not have a degree. I am not doing correspondence too. Recently I came across CFA(Chartered Financial Analyst) course. But what disappointed me was it requires a degree. I am talking about CFA(USA) and not Indian CFA. Indian CFA has few exemptions for CA's. The CFA(USA) says the minimum requirement to enroll is to hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree. This is where I have a doubt. Is CA considered an 'equivalent degree'? Can I enrol for CFA course after completing CA?
