u may take dummy at ur risk

the icai will on a sample basis keep track of the article traniee

employment in big 4 firms will not be considered as article

but it is riskyyy to take dummyyy

am a C.A. Student in Kolkata.the one which u said is very much true.am a regular articled assisstant.also i think dummyship is not good in case if u want to achieve the goal to b a gd professional.on duty training teach us a lot.

As i want to be a good professional in future,from my point of outlook it is better to opt for regular training.as book knowledge does not help us to know wat are the problems we can face in practical world.it teaches us the techniques, skills , procedures to takcle those problems.it also teaches us how to apply ur minds and skills in these areas.this lessons we will not get if we opt for dummyship.

If i get into the any of the BIG 4 accounting firm for articleship, how much package i can expect... Do they take MBA(FInance) for the employment. Please guiden me as how i can plan my CA career.

1) You can do articleship without leaving your job. But first thigns first, you have to do articleship only after IPCC ( ie - CA Inter ).. So, its still a long way to go ie - about a year after you clear CPT... 2) Well, Big four firms generally take students as articles and pay them real well. So, you can earn alongwith articleship.. 3) Well, the Institute doesnt track all article trainees. But If somebody complaints about you, action will be taken ( articles period already completed could be cancelled ) 4) I am doing articles since 2 years and trust me dude, small CA firms teaches you many things. But I am focussed..I want to work in RISK..Pure RISK...( Credit, derivatives, etc )....Well, articles dont teach you that.... So, if you wanna work in the corporate world, all that articles can teach you is how to manage to difficult boss and how to manage studies with work...TRUST ME..THATS IT... 5) Regading your job + dummy, here is a trick.. You dont let them deduct TDS..I mean, your limit is 1,50,000... Invest 1,00,000.... That makes it 2,50,000... Whatever is over and above that, you can make donation @ 100 % u/s 80 G....If you can manage that financially...So, in your tax return, you dont pay any tax... No TDS means no records...If tomo Institute asks you for your tax return upon getting a complaint, you tell them you havent filed it...SIMPLE...
