Note : Don't highly concentrate in Statutary audit, Internal audit & Bank Audit

I have also joined article-ship last week. I think we need to go with the mind set that we dont know anything. We need to keep our eyes and ears open all the time. We should try to get knowledge from each and every way possible. Try not expecting any work from your principal. But whatever work they give, either small or big try doing it efficiently. We are going to spend 3 years in the firm so we must try to get as much as knowledge possible in these 3 years which would help us in our CA finals and in our future

Well, it depends upon where are you joining, Generally : -

1. Elementry level of work.

2. Basic level of work.

3. Cross referencing.

4. Printing and xeroxing.

5. Study of case law etc are to be done by 1st year articles.

If you want to do job in future get into Big 20 Firms (google for names)

If you want to get into practice then get into mid level firm

I signed 102 with my principal. Before I submit 103, it transpared that I won't be able to work under the said principal. Hence I did not submit 103 to icai. I am now going to join another farm and requested my previous principal to cancel the 102 but he declined.

1. If someone does not submit 103, is it a still valid articleship?

2. If I now join another farm and again sign 102 & 103 and register with icai, will it be any kind of violation? or can my previous farm complaint to icai and cancel my registration?

3. Do I need to file any form or any letter to the icai?

Initially I thought as icai suggests that any dispute between pricipal a& article has to be solved amicably. But the said principal is pushing me to submit that 103 to the icai and then take the transfer. The said principal is saying I can not persue ca if i don't sign under his farm.Please note there was no stipend transfer between the farm & me & i just worked for 7-8 days and as 103 was not submitted to icai, principal did not ask me to sign the register either.

Please advise.
