CA Articleship along with LLB from DU

Hey! I wanted to know if it is possible for someone to do both the CA Articleship training and the LLB course simultaneously? Faculty of Law at Delhi University offers classes in the evening (6:30 to 9:30pm) for LLB which is favourable as it is not against the Articleship stipulation that prohibits students from doing any secondary course for which classes are held between 11 am and 5pm.

Also, as a more practical concern, I've heard that most Big 4s in Delhi retain articled assistants till late in the evening which would render one unable to attend the evening Law classes. Given that, is doing LLB feasible?

I dont think it would be feasible....CA final course is very vast and hard and to manage such course along with LLB classes you are talking about could take a heavy toll on your mind and body.Even if you choose to study ca final without coaching then also articleship is tiring and requires effort.And good ca firms dont allow such flexibility in timings as you may be requiring

Yes u can do it But first take the permission of the institute otherwise they will impose fine. Since the timing is post 5.30 so it won't be ab issue, if your CA permit it.

Yes u can ca along with LLB course provided take permission frm ICAI through Form 112.

yes u can one course along with CA articleship which is not cracking the articleship time. You have to submit the Form 112 with ICAI.

Theoraticaly its possible but practically a difficult thing to do. If u r planning for articleship from big 4 then even theoraticaly its impossible because u have severe late nights there.This is my personal experience as i have done articleship from big 4. Siddharth Kansal

Hi.. I have done it myself. Feel free... I got a form signed from my college and submitted to icai... I don't think even that was required... But technically you should.. Good luck.

Hi Vishal! Since you've done it already, could you please give me some details as to how you went about doing it, as in which firm did you do your articleship from and how difficult was it to manage both together?
