As per the CST Act/rule Cforms can be issued only under following cases:resale use in manufacture/processing of goods for sale use in mining use in generation / distribution of power packing of goods for sale/ resale. Then, how can we get C Form against purchase of Software. Can anyone give detailed solution to this?

If you are covering u/s 8 of Central Sales Tax Act you can issue or get the form for same if not you can not get the form.
Otherwise only one way i.e.done by Dhirubhai Ambani in Business of Tel Telcommunication.

Dear Manju,
If the software is to be use in plant (to running of the plant) u can issue form C, it may also be noted that the item should be included in CST registration cerificate. for further clarification u may call at 9425176510 between 9 am to 5 pm.
