C FORM ISSUE? URGENT

C forms can be issued only to those goods which are covered under the registration certificate of the dealer. Purpose for which you can buy materials against C form is Manufacturing, resale, packing etc as laid down under CST Act.

So to procure material against Form C 2 points are important

1) Whether the goods are covered under registration certifcate of the dealer

2) Whether it for the purpose as laid down under CST Act.

I agree with Dayananda.

C Forms cant be issued for those materials which are not covered by registration certificate and cant

be issued for any purpose other than the purpose laid down in  CST act.   As the purpose of

procurement is for the construction of Plant, C form cant be issued.

I have a similar issue.

I have register myself for vat and cst.

The form says Corrugated Boxes in the commodities.

Now I have to purchase machines to manufacture corrugated boxes.

will I get a c-form for the machinery?
