Business trust?

When business trust being REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST distributes its rental income to its unit holders then such income is taxable in the hands of unit holders. As per section 10(23FCA) , rental income is exempt in the hands of REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST.

Rental income received by INFRASTRUCTURE  INVESTMENT TRUST is taxable in their hands. & the same is exempt in the hands of unit holders.

​Annual return of income for the assessment year 2016-17 for all assessee other than (a) corporate-assessee or (b) non-corporate assessee (whose books of account are required to be audited) or (c) working partner (of a firm whose accounts are required to be audited) or (d) an assessee who is required to furnish a report under section 92E​.

Is BT a corporate assessee? or 

Is BT subject to audit?

if no then 31st Jul
