Talked to a friend of my dad who owns a business. He was telling us how much of a sh*t show GST has been.
Apparently he has to submit the GST number of each and every customer he has to sell an item to, and if the customer doesn't have that, they have to get their Aadhar info (?!).
He was also telling me how the GST filing has to contain the cost and tax rates of each and every component in his product, so since he makes electronic panels, he has to file information about 60 different items. Apparently, businesses have had to hire accountants just to understand this mess, and to top it all the GST filing website doesn't work.
How has everyone else's experience been with GST so far?
