Book for taxation

I am NOOPUR (IPCC), can anyone please suggest me, a good  book for  taxation(VAT,ST,IT).

Singhania is the best book for taxation but it is vast....So in the exam point of view even Padhuka is a good book but use these books jus as a reference...Following ICAI study Materials is the best approach...cheers! :)
