Book containing practical problems for cost and fm?

You may follow Padhukas book. It contains handful of problems.

Gaining 60+ in any thing requires conceptual clarity. Try to analyse previous years papers and start preparing as per the weightage for each and every chapter.

Try to quote formulas properly. For that you can cumulate all the formulas in one paper and try to memorise daily.

Dont try to do new problems before examination. Instead try to solve old ones again and again. Plus following practise manuals and RTP's are must. Try to grasp the logic in each and every problem. Speed is must for practical papers. 

Sometimes there might be chances of students getting a lenghty paper for costing. So manage your time properly. 

Students should give importance to even theory.

Irrespective of number of questions you practise before your exam (say you have practised 100 questions), you will be asked 101th question in exam!

So practising problems is just for your confidence, conceptual clarity and speed.

To know probable questions that might be asked in exam, you need to refer to Practise manuals and RTP's in addition to one main book what ever you are following.

I am not sure about any other book with respect to Costing.

With respect to Tax, you can try Singhania, Padhukas, Manoharan, Tax Ready Reckoner (This book problems will be a bit complicated and generally people are of the opinion that it is for CA Practioners level. But if you are so much interested, you can still give a try!!)
