Bonus payable to an employee

Hello,

I have a query regarding bonus outstanding, The client has an amount of outstanding bonus of an employee with it. THis bonus is outstanding since two years. The employee has left the organisation and the organisation doesn't have any contact details of the employee. It is presummed that the organisation would not be able to contact the employee . What is to be done in this case with the bonus amount ?? One cannot write it off , can we ?? Or should it be held forever ???

I read the Payment of Bonus Act and I am unable to find a solution for to this.

Please guide me as per this regard and rpost the relevant laws applicable to it , if possible.

Thank you.
