Bonus not received Previous Company

Hi,

My self Rajiv from Chennai. I was working Pvt Ltd company period of Mar'2021 to Mar'2023. last financial year I didn't received Bonus that company. The Company release the Bonus Except Ex Employees. 

HR said " As per the company policy all employees who are active on roll of the company are the only eligible employees to receive performance bonus.

Therefore you are not part of that list, since your resigned from the company." 

They are released "Annual bonus" but they said "Performance bonus". it is right or wrong.
