Hi i am appearing for ca final 1st group in may 2018 doing self study..
Accounts - mp vijaykumar For as - ds rawat
Sfm - sd bala
Audit- pankaj garg
Law-munish bhandari moti book
 
But i think in teachers ko saare questions pm ke cover kar hi lene chahiye so is there need to refer pm for any subject?do pm cover totally different questions too as compared to above mentioned books?and for audit  there are two books in market of pankaj garg so do i need to purchase compiler too of pankaj garg?

As you have already learned the concepts from these books. Now focus on presentation of answers (language, format) from ICAI practice manual, RTP, MTP, etc.

These books cover most of the PM questions but the language and presentation of ICAI is as per PM, so u must have at least one reading from PM for every subject

u must give atleast one reading of PM's
as they r usually preferred than other authors
atleast make sure u complete PM's of practical subjs

PM is basically for two things, 

 

1. Practice purpose 

2. Writing skills and way of presenting answers in exams

 

Now dont get confused too much and increase no of books in your study material, 

 

And for audit when you had studied from one book, you just need to understand the writing skills and presentation ways by using PM
