You can refer to Prime Vision (Mumbai) - Notes...they are very good
i am using t n manoharan. it is good for exam.
Vinod K Singhania is the best for direct tax.
best book for ca final dt is t.n. manoharan-singhania is good but only after you qualify,along with exam pressure manoharan is best book.
just go for manoharan's book.
you can be assured of 60+ if you complete once at least manoharan's book.it will take you hardly 3 months time if you read 1 hr daily.

should i just follow dinesh madaan for isca?
Dinesh madan is not recomended for securing high marks. Refer Manish Valechha ISCA Textbook (Memory Based Edition). It is best book for exam.

For direct taxes t TN Manoharan is exam oriented. Language used in Vinod Singhania is live conversational plus Professional it is good for theory and concepts, problem given in this book are not suitable for exam, it is very time consuming. If you need concise book for direct taxes then you can also see T G Suresh it is to the point. In my view TNManoharan with Vinod Gupta Summary Module is the good combination for DTx.
wats about Bangad sir book for DT, will u suggest if read it with compiler?

Best Book for Direct Taxes CA final is Singhania along with latest Practice Manual of DT and no doubt but if u want to exempt in that subject then u must prepare ur own notes from these books and revise daily for half an hour u will definitely exempt in that subject..
