If yes then go for v.k.agarwal alongwith padhuka. I think it would be thr right combination. Because some topics are confusing in padhuka so for that u can refer v.k.agarwal

i think for ca final Surbhi Bansal notes for audit is quite better among all..!! precised and easy to understand..!!

if your exams are near surbhi bansal will be good as it civers the entire syllabus despite being precise

I wud like to Disagree with MR.Mazher coz Surbhi Bansal notes are very much precise it help u only at the time of Revision , If u are going to study for the first time It's not gonna be worthy to u,even u'll be confused.... Try some other one... I'm not sure about PADUKA since i had read that book   and i got only 40 and failed overall.....so think about it Besides PADUKA is a Good Book for Self Study.....

KARUNA,I THINK BOOK BY CA SURBHI BANSAL WUD SUFFICE PROVIDED U R GOOD AT EXPLANATION!!!! THE BOOK HIGHLIGHTS MAJOR POINTS,TERSE UNLIKE PADHUKA WHICH IS VERY BULKY,I MEAN IT DOWNGRADES UR CONFIDENCE.THIS IS  NATURAL HUMAN PSYCHOLOGY OF MAJORITY ON SEEING HUGE BULKY BOOKS AND IT ULTIMATELY DOWNGRADES UR PERFORMANCE IN EXAMS!!!! 

SO I WUD SUGGEST U READ SURBHI BANSAL ALONGWITH THE LATEST STUDY MATERIAL OF ICAI.

FINALLY KEEP TAB ON RECENT AMENDMENTS IN AUDIT ON SAs ESPECIALLY AND IN CODE OF ETHICS CHAPTERS WHICH ARE PUT ON SITE BY ICAI.

IF U FOLLOW THE SAME I CAN BET U CAN GET 50 ATLEST. THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE I M SHARING!!! I HOPE U GET ME WHAT I M SAYING!!!!

I'm "consensus ad idem" on ur take at "bulkyness" of the Paduka, But the one who's studying for the first time needs eveything to be explained which i think Paduka did wonderfully,Besides its much more self explainatiory with numerous Examples to justify every loop hole,there's No doubt about "Surabhi mam's notes" Provided u ahve attended her classes.Although I just got 40 in Audit but one thing i can say "Surabhi Mam's notes" is ranked "Seconday" to "Paduka" in terms of Concept Clarity...which is on the Top priority of Institute..

you know that there are seven more subject to be studied 

considering the situation padhuka will be sucidal

@ Karuna......Plz come now .... and just let us know whats ur position with regard to the Exams...are u going to appear for May 2011 exams? If u r then plz Forget about wat i said and go for "Surbhi Bansal" as refered by Mazher n Manoj...!

thank you friends. my attempt is may 2011. i have studied audit once but as audit is the main subject and sensitive too as regards clearing this group, i asked for your suggestions. i think i would go for study mat and surbhi bansal notes. any further advice is welcome.

thank you all. my attempt is may 2011. i have studied audit once and that is from surbhi bansal mam notes. i think surbhi mam's notes are not sufficient . also, audit is a sensitive subject as regards passing percentage. in group one, audit is sensitive and in group two, isca is sensitive. thats y i asked for your opinion. ur further suggestions are welcome. 

Kamal Garg is also good. I studied from that and got 51

PADUKA..if you rread it twice with your own notes in bullet points works alot.

I secured 55 marks two times. Surabhi Bansal's notes are too precise it made me confused.
