Hi All

We all are using computers (If not, you cant read this).And one of the must softwares for a computer is an antivirus.Most of us are using free versions of Antivirus and it is sufficient for hame & personal PCs.And the question is which is the best free antivirus software??

For getting an answer for this, I have do some research work. I hav browsed through some antivirus rankings in reputed websites and tabulated my findings.Plz find file attached.I am sure that it will definitely help you

Thanks for sharing your research and need ur help too about Open Source Softwares. Besides, all above mentioned antivirus is there any antivirus available in form of open source softwares because, all these antivirus provides the limited security features only.

Hai Swetha, but my Comparison is between Free Antivirus and between paid Antivirus, I prefer Bitdefender.No doubt Kaspersky is excellent.

Thanks for sharing your information, I might add ZenOK Free Antivirus as a option too, It' comes with a great interface to check the system and works in the background.

There is no best antivirus. The meaning of best is not really clear: best means it has the best gui, it is the most effective, it is the most difficult to set up, it has the best support or?https://www.techyv.com/questions/what-best-antivirus

if you are using Linux then no need any anti virus.

i am personally using avast ........ its really best.........

it eliminates malcious, trogens etc, even block the virus affected wesites

if you are using orginal OS then----- microsoft security esential is best

if you are not using orginal os then -------- avast, avg, panda cloud .... these are all best option.

I guess that Mcafee antivirus is the best if it is used with a regitered version and its quite easy to install and helps to prevent your PCs or Laptops from virus.
