Best Accounts Basic Book

For basics in accounts go for PC Tulsian's "Fundamentals of Accounting for CA-CPT"

As read, it is meant for CPT students but it covers all the basic concepts and easily understandable with lots of examples.

For basics you should go with the R L Gupta And Radheswamy and Hanif and Mukherjee.

For Basic Accountacy  - Hanif and Mukharjee's Modern Accountancy Volume I and Volume II

For English  -  Wren and Martyn for Grammar and Repidex for Spoken English

T.S. Garewal is best book for basic accounting , and concepts, and lots of question and examples , this book also helpful for cpt students, 

you can refer Grewal Shuklas book on Advanced Accounting for PCC. It will cover all aspects and give a clear picture of subject. It will cost around 300 - 450..
