its applied to only recocnised loan taken from the schedule banks

Search in www.taxmann.com or at www.nsdl.com . I think you might get it in any one of these sites.

As per section 80E of IT Act, educational loan interest paid to financial institutions / banks are eligible for deduction. Refer the section.
