Bank Statement

Dear Saloni,

As you must be aware that we nedd to prepare Bank reconcilation statement for each month to reconcile bal. as per bank book and bal. as per bank statement.The bank bal. as per books is shown under Assets side of Balance Sheet under the head Currents Assets,Loans & Advances.

Agree with above answer BANK BOOK is must.

No Bank Statement is not a part of “Books of Accounts”

Because “Bank Statement” is generally referred to as “A Statement” issued by Bank

[A Third Party]

Books of Accounts do include “Bank Book”.

no bank statement is issued by the bank

books of accounts include only those books which are maintained internally

for recording of bank transaction our book of accounts include bank book maintained by ourself

Bank Statement is not part of Books of Accounts...

So it is not included in the books of Accounts........
