Bank audit for new practitioner

Newly qualified Chartered Accountants who have completed their first three years of practice by September 2023 are inquiring about their eligibility for bank audits allocated by the ICAI for March 2024. The general consensus is that allotment is unlikely unless the practitioner is a partner in a CA firm or possesses over six years of statutory audit experience. Professional competency alone does not guarantee empanelment for bank audits.
