Ban on Transfer - A boon to Articles!!

I have been reading the discussions for the past few weeks
where students were complaining about the ban on transfer.
Since I am also doing articleship, I do understand the feelings.
But, I have a different viewpoint here.
Restriction on transfer is advantage both to the principal
and the articles. Because don't you think that you can do
whatever you wish (within the limits prescribed by the institute's
regulations) and your principal CANT SAY "Take Termination"
 
I mean You can go home at 5 or 6 after all the work, or
attend classes against your principal's wish and if he asks
tell him that you are acting as per Institute's regulations and
the institute wants you to work only for 35-40 hours per week.
Your Principal cant do anything - cant terminate you or tell that
this is misconduct (This is not, right?)
At the most what he can do is shout, shout & shout.
That he does otherwise also. Let him waste his energy
and rise his BP. Why do you care?
 
So why do you worry?
Remember the only aim of students should be to study well,
get good marks and pass. I have seen many students who lack
the guts to speak with the auditor. When you are right, you
should not fear speaking out. At the same time, I don’t say don’t
work, just idle,,, all that. Ensure that you do the work properly in
time, and learn something out of it.
 
I was doing the same, I am doing the same.
I attended all my classes against my principal's wish.
I went home on almost all days around 6 o clock
against my principal's wish. If he asks, I just say, "Look
I have finished all the work which you gave. There is no point in me
sitting idle here". However there was a little fear that this guy may
terminate me, which will adversely affect my eligibility for exams.
But now that is also not there. Is it not, then, a boon?

THEN THE PRINCIPLE WILL ALSO PROVIDE STIPEND OF RS 1250/- ONLY AND WITH THIS I AM QUITE SURE THAT WITH THIS SUM OF MONEY U CAN'T SURVIVE

Otherwise also the principal gives the same stipend only. Moreover the stipend is not for surviving.

I have got this reply from an "AUDITOR". Quite "obvious".

I dont think but I am sure that I am intelligent from the fact that I am an All India Rank Holder.

And I am not fighting with my principal. I am just stating facts.

Ask my principal, He is happy with my work.

I am straight forward only.  There is nothing to correct.

If at all there is something to correct, CORRECT YOUR ENGLISH first.

Well I completely support miss R.Kani Amudha . I think she is totally correct. Whatever she has written is absolute fact......

I think institute has taken a correct decision regarding ban on transfer as most of the students takes dummy...& do not take the advantage of Articleship....which indeed in future results.....in lack of professionalism....

 

LET ME EXPLAIN MY POINT STUDENT SHOULD ALLOW TRANSFER ATLEAST 2 TRANSFER BECOZ YOU MUST AGREE IN ONE CA FIRM U WILL NOT GET ALL EXPOSURE SO FOR MORE EXPOSURE U HAVE TO GO TO NEXT CA FIRM.SO THEY MUST ALLOW TRF. AND ABOUT R.Kani Amudha I READ HER THOUGHT WHILE SHE WAS TELLING HER POINT BUT AT TIME I TELL HER IF U POINT YOUR PRINCIPAL ABOUT TIMING THEN HE WILL ALSO SHOW RULES AS IN MY CASE MY PRINCIPAL PAY ME RS 7000/- + CONVEYANCE AND IF I TELL HIM ABOUT TIMING THAT I WILL WORK 9-5 THEN HE WILL FEEL BAD. AND APART FROM THAT MY PRINCIPAL IS ALSO SUPPORTING ME BECOZ ALL OUR PRINCIPAL IS CA THEY HAVE GONE FROM ALL THIS.I JUST WANT TO EXPALIN THIS TO R.Kani Amudha. Talking about the timings again, if one is in office for 10 or 12 hours working

that doesnt mean he is doing a better job. In cost accounting there is something called

"efficiency". The longer the time taken, the lesser is the efficiency. I firmly

believe that one can efficiently work and finish all the work from 9 to 5.

However there are times (end of July & September) when the work load will be more.

There is nothing wrong in working extra that time. But when it becomes a matter of routine,

it amounts to the inefficiency.

 

welll sometimes u have to worked after office timings also..... in my office i am handling 3-4 assignments simultaneously......what can i do in such circumstances.......???? nobody is doubting on your rank or articleship.....i m sure if u have written this  definitely u got the rank....

Look, This discussion was initiated in a very positive spirit by R.Kani Amudha. The point expressed by him/her is quite a different take on the entire matter. But then in the subsequent post R.Kani Amudha introduced 'crookedness'  of an auditor very unnecessarily. This has veered off the discussion onto another path. I appeal to everyone not to divert from the topic and discuss this vital matter with earnestness.

 

This is for Sandeep. As you said, if you have several assignments on hand, then each of them must have a deadline as well. (Hope all don’t have the same deadline) You must prioritize accordingly. Say IT  returns of tax audit cases comes next to non-tax audit cases, that way. Prepare a daily work programme and stick to it. That will make the task easy, non-chaotic and organized. You cannot sit and finish everything overnight, right?
Even if you do, then the quality of work gets affected.
Taking extended hours when the workload is more (peak seasons) is ok. But it should not become a routine. If it does, then there is no balance between work and studies.
That was a good one. All i can ask at this moment is will you be the same Principal that your principal is. You will say No - I think most of you will agree. But it is all about the time, your articles might look for new things to scold you for. I once had by boss saying "i had to add all the phone numbers in a directory , you are not get that i kind of work, you are lucky" Things change in a flash . I think get the positives and communicate only that, leave the rest in the air, enjoy the what ever you do and the days just pass off.

Hii everbody , i partially agree with R.Kanu, we can not fight our principal mentally, it is called mentally blackmailing.If we have right than he also has right to do many things .Know one thing , when our articleship will be completed we have to submit certificate of service, If than he is angry on us he can write in in "Morally irresponsible", which can have effect on our future.In my opinion articleship should be handled after respecting our principal also.Although I am agree with u what u say , but we have limit in it.Whnever i want to happy my CA, i just say "CA bhi kabhi article tha", than he realises his days........... Best wishes
