Ban on Articleship

I don't think that the decision to ban transfers was a bad decision.. the case with guys like you is that, "gehoo ke sath ghun bhi pis raha hai" you should have been careful at time of joining and also, as you are trapped now... you should talk of the situation with the employer without the fear of losing anything.. he is completely using you for some concurrent assignment to make regular income for self.... try talking to him.. if it fails write anonymous mails to the ICAI's concerned department... if they reply.. do as they say.. if they don't, try talking to the nearby institute office without disclosing any personal details( just to be safe and not let the matter reach your employer from source  other than you)... if that fails, i am sorry to say this... but stop working and hamper your employer's interests...... you are not a slave... if you dont get anything out of a symbiosis.... just detach in some way dont waste time... there has to b a way to get away

dude you dont need any source to go for industrial training.Companies wanting to hire trainees put their req in the notice board of the institute you can get in touch with them and if your inerview goes well you will be hired.

i also agree with Rohit.

IcaI should make some changes with regard to articleship.Because all students are not getting same level of training.So,instead of doing articleship at practicing CA s the institute itself should conduct traing classes simulating all/major audit situations.

 be practical dude....i'm myself looking for industrial training these days...and trust me the vacancies are very few....and the people looking for industrial training are far more than that.

I've myself submitted my resume to various companies but actually 4 companies had vacancies and that to not more than 1-2 vacancies. Now you tell me how can just 4 companies in India will be able to meet the requirements of students.

Whereas on the other hand my friend having references has already got a call from couple of companies who were not even looking for ca industrial trainees.

there is no ban in articleship, there is ban in transfer.

but i disagree with one of u; that it is the writer's mistake that he joined that firm.

dude i got thru 3 cos bpcl,dbs cholamandalam and ranbaxy without any source so its hard for me to buy your arguement .but maybe you're right.

I dont think its a bad decision by Institute for ban on Articleship.

But also its not a proper way to stop dummy candidate.

I think our institute has to take some other action in this regard but how could they take as some of the institute main member had given dummy.

As we all know that all types of work are not being done by all CA firm so there must be some provision for transfer if anybody wanna to experience different work.

i'm not saying that people don't get industrial training without reference....but my point is that vacancies are very few. E.g. I'm in Delhi so the only vacancies that i got to know about are either on the notice board of ICAI office in Delhi or on the internet or CA magazine. How will i get to know about a vacancy for which notice is put up at ICAI Mumbai office or Kolkata office.

So the number of students are far more than the vacancies for industrial trainees and that is something ICAI should look at but sadly they are more obssessed with bringing in rules like ban on transfer which is now a nightmare for students like me. 

agar possible ho to secondment le lo apne C.A. se and ek doosri firm join kar lo .......

I do not agree with our friend who stated that we should think before joining articles. I like to say to our friend every one is not as lucky and capable of finding out about his prospective employer.
