Dear Experts,

I am confused about one thing which is that as per income tax act some expenses like Income tax, service tax, FBT and interest & penalty etc thereon also are not deductible from income for the year,

so now my confusion is that at the time of preparing final accounts as per schedule VI, whether these expenses should be shown in P&L a/c or not...? Becuase final accounts in tally is showing these items so should we prepare schedule VI matching with our tally accounts..... if yes then what abt income tax rules.... is there any  attachment also like notes where we can show computation as per income tax act by adjusting these items accordingly... pls advise me....Thanks in advance.

Mr Joshi Service tax is deductible expense from the taxable income.  Other taxes such as I-T Wealth Tax whihc are not allowed should be debited to P&L Account only as per Normal Accounting Principles.  However while calculating the taxable income at the time of assesing the tax liability these shud just be added and tax to be paid accordingly.

Ok...Thank u sir.
